ReStart was developed by Kim Goddard, in a partnership with Florida State Attorney Bernie McCabe and Pinellas County Sheriff Everett Rice. The methods were developed for local law enforcement’s teen diversion programs.

ReStart’s mission is to reach juveniles and help them find their own successful path. Teaching them good manners, presentation skills along with everyday life skills while instilling confidence and pride, respect for themselves, their families and all others without prejudice.

As we all know, manners and everyday life skills are best learned through training and exposure. We also know that in today’s society, children are not being taught these skills in the schools, on the streets, and unfortunately in many cases, not even at home. The “ReStart” program is a practical, exciting, hands-on approach to teaching these skills.

Since 2002 ReStart has graduated approximately 800 kids and only 12 have re-offended and re-entered the legal system.
